WATER-POWERED DEVICES, SALE OF

~ 291-1. Sales to be reported.
Any merchant or vendor who sells any device by which a plain water bib may be made to serve the purpose of a hose bib or who sells any washing or other machine to be operated by water motor power is hereby required to report the same, in writing, to the Receiver of Taxes of this village within ten (10) days from the date of such sale, giving the name and street address of the person or persons to whom such device or machine is sold.
~ 291-2. Penalties for offenses.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction, by a maximum fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.) or imprisonment for not more than fifteen (15) days, or by both.
